Roan is a white pattern that manifests as singluar white hairs mixed throughout the regular coat. These white hairs are focused on the main body and will not affect the head or lower legs. Small irregularities called cornspots may apprear, but should never be too big or read as actual holes in the roan.

Roan is always gradiented and may be somewhat textured. This pattern is always symmetrical.

This pattern affects neither the eye nor skincolour, and will not change the colour of the mane and tail.

Min.png
Minimal

Roan should at least be faintly visible in the coat. Exceptions may be made on near white coat colours even if it's hard to see.

Med.png
Medium

Roan usually shows at around 50% opacity of white over the base coat.

Max.png
Maximal

At maximum, Roan may be near white in its brightest areas. It should still be gradiented towards the edges and not affect the mane, tail, face and lower legs.
