Shimmer is a gene that affects the Horns, Scales and Hooves of a Kirin, giving them a shiny surface. This effect may look metallic and can even affect the iris slightly by adding a faint extra shine. This shine should always be of a similar hue or white if the base tone is very light. It should never be a completely different colour than the horncolour.
